Lesley Vedelago, Optometrist

Dip App Sc Optom, FACBO, FCOVD, FVCO, Grad Cert Ocular Therapeutics

  • Graduated in 1976 in Optometry from Queensland Institute of Technology (link to http://www.hlth.qut.edu.au/opt/) (QIT)
  • Fellowship at the Australasian College of Behavioural Optometrists (link to http://www.acbo.org.au/)  (ACBO) and the College of Vision Development (link to http://www.covd.org/)(COVD) in USA\
  • Masters of Optometry lecturer in Behavioural Optometry at the University of New South Wales and lecturers annually on acquired brain injury, multi-impaired and low vision. 
  • Member of the Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association International (link to http://www.nora.cc/)
  • Lesley is qualified to prescribe ophthalmic medications for the treatment of certain eye conditions having recently completed a Graduate Certificate degree in Ocular Therapeutic from Queensland University of Technology (QUT)
  • In 1998 Lesley was awarded the Hamblyn Brier award for Clinical Excellence. 
  • Lesley is also an accredited optometrist trained in the co-management of refractive laser surgery.

Sheila Tsang, Optometrist

B App Sc Optom (Hons), FACBO, Grad Cert Ocular Therapeutics

  • Sheila graduated in 1993 from the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) with First Class Honours.
  • She completed a post graduate Masters of Optometry course in Behavioural Optometry from the University of New South Wales in 1996. 
  • In 2001 Sheila was awarded her Fellowship to the Australasian College of Behavioural Optometrists (ACBO).
  • Sheila served as a member on the ACBO fellowship examination board for a few years.  
  • Sheila completed a Graduate Certificate degree in Ocular Therapeutics from QUT and is qualified to prescribe ophthalmic drugs for the treatment of certain eye conditions. 
  • She is an accredited optometrist, trained in co-management of refractive laser surgery.
  • Sheila is also a Credentialed Optometrist, approved by Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) and Optometry Australia to conduct eye examinations for the purposes of pilot licensing.

At the heart of our practice, the team have over 50 years combined experience in optometry.
